Applause Performances: Kristine Jackson

Blues
Blues and Americana musician Kristine Jackson got the Applause Performances spotlight.

Ever since her time in elementary school in Grafton, Ohio, has been obsessed with music.

When she discovered her dad's old blues albums she was hooked.

Now Jackson is one of the top blues performers in Northeast Ohio.

She joined ideastream's David C. Barnett for the June edition of Applause Performances to talk about her story of survival and how music got her through the tough times.

Jackson debuted her new song Don't Let Me Go, and explained how she plays her beloved cigar box guitar.
