Fran DeWine: From First-Grade Sweetheart to Ohio's First Lady

Before he was sworn in as Ohio's governor, Mike DeWine spent more than four decades in political office, serving as county prosecutor, state senator, United States senator, and attorney general. Through it all, there's been one constant: his closest adviser and wife, Frances Struewing DeWine.

Karen Kasler, chief of the Ohio Public Radio and TV Statehouse News Bureau, sat down for a conversation with Ohio's first lady in the living room of the governor's residence.
