Northeast Ohio鈥檚 community health centers are preparing to ramp up coronavirus testing efforts, with a focus on minority and high-risk populations.

To decrease the spread of COVID-19, doctors鈥� offices are opting for telemedicine appointments instead of in-person visits. That鈥檚 leading to financial struggles for federally qualified health centers. 鈥淭he decrease in face-to-face visits is going to have a detrimental impact on community health centers across the state,鈥� said Jean Polster, CEO of Neighborhood Family Practice, a community health center in Cleveland.

The state has been trying to crack down on predatory practices associated with pharmacy benefit managers, the middlemen in big drug contracts. And鈥�
