Understanding the Basics of Cancer Treatment

In March, 2015 ideastream launched a multiple-media Be Well series about cancer in Northeast Ohio. A series of stories for TV, radio, and the web was produced about a wide range of issues related to cancer including treatment & research; coping & support; and cancer disparities affecting African Americans. The video below includes an interview about the basics of cancer treatment with Dr. Smitha Krishnamurthi. She is a medical oncologist with the UH Seidman Cancer Center which is part of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is also Associate Professor, Medicine-Hematology/Oncology at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
