The S.H.O.P. (鈥淪mall Business Health Options Program鈥 is a site run by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to help small business owners find affordable health insurance that works for their company.

The ACA and Your Business - Understanding the Impact of Healthcare Reform


This toolkit by the U.S. Department of Labor includes many resources about the provisions, protections and plans due to changes by the Affordable Care Act.


This user-friendly platform includes a wizard which helps businesses understand what the impact of healthcare reform will be on their operations. This one-stop-shop for businesses allows exploration of the changes of the ACA and is sponsored by Business.USA.gov, a White House-ordered collaboration by all facets of the government affecting small business.


The Small Business Administration offers a variety of webinars, articles and explanations of the Affordable Care Act specifically related to how the changes will affect small and medium sized businesses.


The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in addition to the main site at Healthcare.gov offers some resources on its site related to employer sponsored insurance benefits and how to get tax credit for your small business.


The Ohio Department of Insurance, while regulating insurance in the State of Ohio, does not operate the insurance exchanges. But they do provide some helpful information and a variety of FAQs related to the changes in healthcare.


The Greater Cleveland Partnership, which serves as the Chamber of Commerce for Cleveland and surrounding areas, together with its small business partner COSE (Council of Small Enterprises) has provided a number of decision tools, webinars and information resources relating to changes by the ACA and how it will impact Northeast Ohio businesses.
