Ideas Sunday - First Lady Fran DeWine; Camp Hope; Banner Year for Walleye

srcset=https://npr.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/1774813/2147483647/strip/true/crop/1920x1080+0+0/resize/1760x990!/quality/90/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fnpr-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com%2Flegacy%2Fuploads%2F2019%2F9%2F30%2FIdeasSundayWebCover16_9.png

Before he was sworn in as Ohio’s governor eight months ago, Mike DeWine spent more than four decades in public office. Through it all, there's been one constant -- his closest adviser and wife, Frances Struewing DeWine.

Camp Hope is a week long summer camp and a national program designed for nine to 11-year-old children who have been impacted by violence and trauma. This summer, Camp Hope was introduced to Northeast Ohio -- and ideastream's Gabriel Kramer.

Plus, as Lake Erie’s water begins to cool, what's already been a banner year for walleye fishing is heating up.
