A few of the books written by guests of Sound of Ideas in 2024.

The hosts and commentators that appear regularly on 91福利 come from a diverse background and often unique perspectives on a variety of topics. Those journalists and reporters often turn to the written word to express their views and dig deeper into a specific idea.

This year, the Sound of Ideas team spoke to several familiar voices that WKSU listeners hear on their radio dial. We've compiled a few of those conversations into a program for Tuesday's Sound of Ideas.

First up is Mo Rocca, the humorist who's known for his frequent appearances on Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me and CBS Sunday Morning. He has a new book out that looks at people who made their mark later in life - he dubs them roctogenarians.

Then we'll hear from 91福利 hosts and reporters Sarah McCammon, Nell Greenfieldboyce, and Ayesha Roscoe. They all used their own lived experiences as jumping off points to pen books in 2024.

Guests:
- Mo Rocca, Humorist and Author, Roctogenarians: Late in Life Debuts, Comebacks, and Triumphs
- Sarah McCammon, Host and Author, The Exvangelicals: Loving, Living, and Leaving the White Evangelical Church
- Nell Greenfieldboyce, Reporter and Author, Transient and Strange: Notes on the Science of Life
- Ayesha Roscoe, Host and Author, HBCU Made: A Celebration of the Black College Experience
